Do phones still show battery life and carrier info on screenshots? Mine doesn't and I feel like I haven't seen it do that for a few years at least lol

Edit: ok, so if I swipe up from the bottom and hit the screenshot icon it doesn't show the battery, signal, etc BUT if I take a screenshot using the volume keys on the side it does show all of that

Maybe it's OS specific as iOS captures everything visible on the screen.

Mine does too on the latest Android. Maybe they're using Graphene or something and it's different there?

As a grapheneOS user I csn confirm it does show the bar at the top in screenshoots.

I would love for that to be an option, though. I often edit my screenshots to remove things like the clock in order to help anonymize. Though I understand the goal of GrapheneOS is security, which is not the same as anonymity.

I have a 2025 Moto Edge. It's just running the standard android software I didn't do anything special to it 🤷‍♂️
