- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Funny how they never do.
Sometimes I wish they would honor their threat, but they just don't.
Of course, they want to live in big penthouses in big cities. They don't want to live with redneck neighbors in the south.
Then moving to a different state won't help anything they will move somewhere that's more friendly for rich assholes to bend and break laws like Texas.
Like I said I really don't like Gavin but him passing this would only affect California it needs to be done at a federal level.
Norway raised their wealth tax recently, despite the cries from rich people "being forced" to leave.
Some did in fact leave because of it.
But the tax revenue from the ones that remained more than made up for the lack of contributions from the ones leaving.
One news outlet described it as "turning a trickle into a stream".
Fuck the petty cash trickles from the ones who don't want to be here. Let them leave. They can go not pay their tax elsewhere. See how that works out for Texas or wherever.
