As someone who has read the linked thread: it would be helpful, even for me, if you included a quote that shows he blames the left for everything wrong. I think you're referring to (link):

but I'm not sure because here he seems to blame fascism too here. Do you have a better quote that I didn't see?

He's literally equating militant fascism with the culture that seeks to deplatform the kind of people that support fascism. Hope that clears it up for you.

In the quote I showed he's equating the censorship/authoritarianism of nazi germany to that of the USSR. Of the comments he has made, I actually find that apt. Your interpretation only makes sense if you're equating the USSR with leftism generally which says as much about you as it does him.

I understand boycotting the game because of uncouth comments of its creator, especially when it comes to women's rights / sexual assault / etc., but please be honest that's the reason if it truly is why. I am at least not convinced he's a fascist based purely on what I've seen him say.
