How much of an insufferable edgelord do you have to be to try and reframe mods removing rule breaking comments as "mods need thicker skin"
The kind that also thinks that capitalism is evil and the US is bad but somehow everything the US State Department says about a socialist country is correct.
Wrong, I'm an anarchist. I don't believe any nation state has a great track record, and I've been 100% correct in this so far.
Please stop. As said in another reply to you: I'm not arguing China is bad for a state. But the government of any nation does fucked up shit. Maybe it's necessary, maybe there was truly no way around it. I don't know. But it is a reality you have to accept.

Its probably a decade old meme at this point, which is besides the point, and is why you dodged the content of the meme. No revolution will ever meet your standards. Millions of people are too busy building socialism and lifting people out of poverty to care what some western anarchist thinks about them.
I'm not criticizing the Chinese people or even China. I'm criticizing naive people who think systems like national governments don't develop horrible outcroppings as part of self-perpetuation.
I'm not even saying that's avoidable, i.e. I'm not saying that China could be much better. I'm just saying that it's denial to ignore, downplay, or bury every bit of negative reality just because it's caused by a source you want to defend.

I get where they're coming from, China certainly gets a lot right. But some people here are denying that any of the bad parts exist and just unquestioningly glaze the government of a nation state.
Like why do they simp for a country so hard that the only thing separating them from a nationalist in that country is the fact that they never actually participated in its culture and have even less of a clue about the reality of living there?
Could I get a list of the bad parts you see denied frequently on here?
No, I got enough reasonable-looking but ultimately dubious canned responses. It's weird that drone footage and other videos are enough to convince some people of bad things happening in countries they don't like while the same level of evidence doesn't have the same sway for bad things happening in countries they like.
I get that socialism can't be perfect in a world so shackled by capitalism. I don't get why some people convince themselves that China is a perfect example of socialism.
I'm really not in the mood to watch Very Convinced individuals try to e.g. ridicule violence protest suppression by calling it “tinyman square”.

We're constantly talking about the actual conditions in the country with people who actually live there. The idea that we're all just sat around telling each other stories about China with a certainty and fervor that belies a complete lack of factual data is, franky, some wild projection by western leftists.
