Hmm, yeah, Aldi stores are pretty hit or miss in terms of overall quality. I do have a Trader Joes near me that I should check out on my next shopping trip.
Would you say that Trader Joes has managed to balance affordability with quality?
I think so... TJs has a lot more organic products than I used to buy from our big chain, in some products Organic is the only option, but even the organics aren't as expensive as the regular versions from the big chain. The selection is limited, like Aldi - but what's on offer is generally pretty good, and generally better than similar things at Aldi. TJs does have a huge selection of candies, and much more varied options in frozen foods than most places.
