Why, who are they hurting?
This was an ad for a Netflix documentary. Why are you sticking up for that?
It’s an extremely high risk activity that unfortunately necessitates involving other people in things like body clean up if they make a mistake. First responders and the passerby’s around get to carry that burden.
They didn’t even take the risk for anything but their own show promotion.
True, but then again there are so many such things. If I go into the woods for my own enjoyment and accidentally get lost requiring a rescue, am I being selfish? What about skiing, mountain climbing and all such activities? They all involve first responders saving your ass.
Hell by that logic anyone who drives a vehicle on a public road for any non-productive reason is being selfish.
I’m being selfish right now by just sitting here not doing anything for anyone other than myself.
