STEM and the trades are very, very different and should not be lumped together. Women outnumber men by a significant margin in biological sciences, for example. And more women than men have been graduating from medical school in the US every year since 2017. Similarly, more women than men have been graduating with PhDs across the board every year since 2020
you're right, they're very different fields. stem fields have recently shown more female representation than men. i concede that point. i was wrong about women in stem
trades and military however are consistently proven to heavily underrepresent women, despite feminist efforts to change that
why is that? i think it's because less women are inclined to pursue these fields, in part because of their obvious disadvantage in strength, and their reluctance to engage in competition, and receptivity to physical danger
