I was pretty disgusted with the first movie she was in. The original wonder woman movie.
She was this super powered killing machine just WASTING humans left and right. Just seemed insanely fucked up.
What's crazy is that after she killed all these drafted soldiers in a morally grey war, with no hesitation, suddenly there's this whole moral line drawn about killing someone who's actively committing war crimes and fully intending to prolong the war and keep making chemical weapons.
Video game logic, but the bad kind.
"Yeah I killed all them goons, but the MAIN VILLAIN IS WHERE I DRAW THE LINE! Let's not punish the leaders but hire them for our benefit like we did in Nuremberg!"

Yes but the moral line was not from her. It was from the mandated Eurocentric male love interest.
If anything, her problem (character-wise) was that she believed anything was fine so long as she got to crush the head of the snake.
I didn't watch it. I just saw a couple of her interviews and she was super pretty and charming. I watched a clip of the no man's land scene from that movie and it was pretty cool. Not into superhero flicks unfortunately
