Trying to keep vegans from being seen as lunatics actually 100% helps animals, encouraging that thought does the opposite. Defending reasonable vegans is not all I do either, but given your knack for mental gymnastics I think this conversation has reached its end. Enjoy feeling good about yourself, but it does make it obvious where your real priorities are. You're fraudulent just like the "Chud" you defend. You've lost touch with reality to the point where I'm not even sure you're capable of understanding another perspective.

I also like how you're implying that beating myself up is what would convince me (which it hasn't made me vegan or helped me in any other way, nor has it done so for anyone else either), but education would not be as effective.
You can talk to me about how to convince others when you've managed to convince yourself. Until then I'll stick with what worked on me and what I know worked on others, which is to move outside the bounds of "civil" debate and call a spade a spade.
