I recognized a few names on there as brain dead trolls or politically extreme zealots. I'm sure some are fine and maybe just got on the devs nerves for something petty or isolated, but either way you're right, let people manage their shit. Tired of people thinking they can nanny everyone else or tell others what to do or think or feel.
Sometimes you are just going to piss people off no matter what. Shit lemmy grew as the 2024 election in the U.S. grew. If users from the U.S. weren't bitching about politics or calling others names... Then we probably deserve the current state
