Caffeine helps me, but not everyone. The trick to understanding Migraines is that every person who suffers from them is different. Different triggers, different OTC meds, different treatments, there is no one management for them
I will say I have been looking into magic mushrooms for helping treat other issues I have though.
Yeah oddly enough, they help with depression too. Magic mushrooms indeed.
I've had it in my mind to make a trip to Portland for a session to see if it helps mine.
I do a "reset" every so often - maybe once a year, twice if it's been rough. It seems to work alright, but you have to go into it prepared to be happy. I know that sounds dumb, but sometimes when we get depressed for too long, we cling to that feeling out of familiarity and subconsciously avoid or even fear the idea of being happy. So if you do it, make sure you go in ready and willing to be happy, otherwise it'll make everything worse.
