It's all about the controller man, back in the day having the 6 button genesis controller was like it's own cheat code.
Sega Saturn is even better with the additional shoulder buttons.
Never got one, but I've got an 8bitdo M30 that has them, I love it.
Do you use retroarch? I’ve been trying to get mine to use all six buttons on macos, but can’t figure out yet how to map them so I can play genesis roms. I’d appreciate any help you’re willing to give. Thanks.
