While firing someone via text message on Friday is absolutely OK.
HR guys are basically the company’s lackeys.
I'm not in HR, I'm a clinical manager. I've literally never fired someone via text message. I can count the number of people I've fired over 15 years on one hand, and they all saw it coming months in advance and had many opportunities to improve. All employers are not equal
