I'd kill for a 4 day work week. one day for chores/errands, two to yourself

We need the first day to wind down from work, and the third day to mentally prepare for work.

The day in the middle is the whole weekend.

Same. I can't imagine how much healthier and happier I would be. And more productive at my job.

for real, even if its 4x10 its so much better than 5x8 for me

I have it too and couldn't disagree more. The extra day is huge IMO

Maybe at first it did. Then it helped realize how fucked the whole concept is. At least with work that is subconscious problem solving. Even compartmentalizing it only to the days with work is basically a mental prison sentence of four times 24 hrs, not only the work hours. Something like 3 days of 6 would be absolutely doable with probably better results and the balance would actually prioritize human life time.

Having the opportunity to analyze the problem made it more stupid. Which is harder to see inside the legacy indoctrination.

Not saying 4 isn't better, it definitely is a start.
