As soon as a better reddit clone comes along I'm GONE
But I doubt it, even Mastodon which is German got overrun by Americans and American politics
Americans are EVERYWHERE
let me guess, you're one of the ones that got banned from reddit "for no reason"
I'm on reddit right now? Just having a quick read of this:

Going on lemmy to brag that you still use reddit isn't the gotcha you think it is.
im not bragging, im laughing at you guys
youβre the uncool losers of the internet which is how you like it until someone points it out
Yet here you are, posting comments π
why do you think i care about random redditors on an obscure subreddit?
if you weren't banned, you'd be upvoting those comments :D
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
what?
DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU ON THE WAY OUT!
There's no door here, this is a website
Is voat still around? You might fit in there.
I'll be honest Americentrism annoys me too, but we can hardly complain when we're on lemmy.world of all places.
America is the largest Anglophone country so you can't really complain about them being numerous on an international English-speaking audience, not exactly their fault they did a lot of baby booming in the late '40s.
And the boomers had a bunch of kids that are all tech savvy and in their 30s-40s, so you know, the primary userbase for Reddit/Twitter/Lemmy/Mastodon etc.
You know that Fediverse is decentralized, right? Lots of instance barely have anything American, especially Asian instance.
OH REALLY? NO WAY
I HAD NO IDEA
oh look, an AfD member!
Merz? Is that you? Building the next strawman so you can keep ruining the country next election?
