Ohhh Noos! The branding I choose which no one wanted or ever adopted is tarnished by my own actions from the last two years… Let’s rebrand and hopefully the user base will no longer associate my actions with this service anymore!

Read the article next time. Another company claims X abandoned the name and is launching a competetor using "Twitter" "Tweets" and Twitter.now url.
