7-Zip has long replaced WinZip and WinRAR for me.
Yeah I thought everyone used that. Why bother with Winrar?
I think it’s mostly out of spite.

On earth we call it Ark actually
Literally the only reason WinRAR had ever been used is because people either didn't know about 7zip, or their parents dropped them on their heads causing them to "prefer WinRAR" 🤮
I've always used 7zip but whenever I help a friend with tech stuff and they have winrar I find that its ui is better for browsing archives without extracting it (from what I remember, I haven't used windows 7zip for a year now and on linux I just use ark)
