Real: Actual monsters are everywhere at all times, but only come to your bathroom at night.

Heterosexual: Those monsters have genitalia, and if you're charming enough, you can initiate various forms of intercourse with them.

Or just like, run around your house peeing everywhere while opening lights.

Well, assuming this a guy and he heard a man's voice, i don't think it is going to be heterosexual...

On the other hand, I'm straight, but if I had the chance to bang a ghost, I wouldn't miss my chance because of those details. You might be talking to Jesus, but I'm fucking your great-great-grandpa!
