I can't stand strong cologne; I've told multiple men and women publicly it's supposed to be suggested, not announced.
I know when my upstairs neighbor has passed through the building because I can follow her scent all the way, it even lingers outside sometimes.
In my old job there was this one lady in the suite next door who wore so much perfume you could nearly see the cloud. And holy shit could you taste it. It was vile! And it would linger for about 20 minutes or more in the area where the shared restrooms were. As someone who has a very sensitive sense of smell, it was too much. But even after receiving multiple complaints, she didn't care.
