That's about the only thing incognito is good for.
Incognito is also great if you need to log in to something on someone else’s machine, or someone needs to log into something on your machine. As soon as the window closes you’re logged out.
For example, I’ve used this to great effect in the past helping people find their cell phones. I open an incognito window, let them log into their Google or Apple account, then use the respective find phone tool.
True, or to log in to a second account of a service you're already logged in to.
