I know this is not always easy, but if you're trying to find something women like, really the only good option is to ask women. Anyone saying anything else is guessing or that's not their goal.
The women I tend to like tend towards sandalwood fragrances which I can handle but wouldn't expect to be popular at all. So, I buy things with sandalwood.
