On Tuesday, a widely cited psychologist took to YouTube to raise the alarm regarding “more highly concerning behavior” from President Donald Trump. According to Dr. John Garrison, Trump’s recent actions suggest “steep neurological decline” and a dangerously “manic-like state.”

Garrison began by playing a clip from a recent Fox News interview, in which Trump declared that the price of oil is “going to go down like a rocket.” According to Garrison, “There were two neurological issues in this very short clip, both of them verbal. One is that he's having speech planning issues, saying ‘going down like a rocket.’ Obviously, that's combining phrases. He's having a hard time organizing his thoughts. And second is an involuntary vocalization.” Here Garrison replays the clip, noting an abrupt sound Trump makes, explaining, “The pathways that deal with language are disrupted. We are seeing serious issues with language with President Trump.” What’s more, Garrison asserts that such vocalizations are “relatively new.”

In the interview, Trump begins talking about the midterm elections, saying, “I'm going to campaign like I did for myself and I'm going to hope that people think that I'm on. And if I'm not on, if they don't go out and vote, if they go out and vote, we're going to win easily.” As Garrison notes, “What he's saying makes absolutely no sense. He cannot organize his thoughts. He gets confused and he believes what he's saying is coherent. But it truly makes no sense.” According to Garrison, this struggle with verbal planning can be evidence of underlying “neurological issues.”

Here Garrison points to Trump’s pupils, which have remained dilated throughout the interview. “Trump is in a very bright room for this interview,” says Garrison. “You can see the lights actually reflecting off of his eyes, and what should be happening is that his pupils should be constricting rather than dilating because when there's too much light in a room, your pupils get smaller, not bigger.” According to Garrison, “Dilated pupils like this can be from a wide variety of reasons, but it's not just something that happens,” and likely culprits include medication for something like incontinence, Parkinson’s disease, or seizures.

Accusing me of not reading is hilarious. You clearly didn't read what I wrote or you don't have language comprehension skills to deduce reasoning. If you can't see the problem with blaming every American for the actions of the people who actually DID elect them, then you are part of the problem...part of the problem that affects the human species as a whole, not just the people behind certain boundaries. Calling me gay doesn't really hurt someone who has sucked dozens of dicks btw.

no one else in the world would be this insulted and jump to defend their country after being told their president was elected

no one exept americans

you hate your own peers so much you don't even consider the president as your president

I repeat, no one in the world acts this way

[–] 3daybanwithdrawl@lemmy.world 3 points 14 hours ago* (last edited 14 hours ago) (1 children)

Why would I give af what other people act like in other countries with completely different lifestyles? Again you are using Trump supporter logic. I never said i was insulted because you said he was elected or whatever the fuck you are trying to say with your word twisting. I said I was insulted because you lump every American in with Trump supporters. Yes I do hate my peers THAT much (and now you too) because they are sub human scum who are in a cult. I hate them so much I want the entire cult to do a re-creation of what happened with the cult in Jonestown (look it up you ignorant European) see doesn't feel so good for someone to assume your intelligence level based off of geography, does it? Serious question....Do you think being a p.o.s in another country somehow makes you better than the pieces o.s. in my country? Have you ever heard the phrase, "You take yourself wherever you go."? I bet you have and I bet you despise that phrase as much as I despise the way you and all the other biggots of the world think. And yes I know you are not European and no I still don't care where you are actually from.

[–] BouteilleBrune@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

I swear it will never be your fault

mark my words, when this is over all of you will just keep saying it wasn't your fault

because you never do anything wrong, you're too "great"

people are starving, girl schools are being bombed, but we can't say shit to you, it's not your fault

millions of democrat voters stayed home because they couldn't bring themselves to vote for a woman, even knowing the pedophile would be your president

when I say this could never happen where I'm from, it's not because of a system, the people simply would't allow it, because unlike you, we actually are free and value our freedom

and by the way you did elect him, he was elected, have you not read the news?

I think you may be confused between a vote and an election

[–] 3daybanwithdrawl@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

Why are you blaming me for the people who stayed home? I voted for her. Fuck you, you smug fuck. Your hatred goes both ways. I don't hate you because im American i hate you because you are full of hatred for people you don't even know you fucking Nazi who doesn't even realize they are a Nazi.

[–] BouteilleBrune@lemmy.world -3 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

also, did I call you gay or haven't you read?

[–] 3daybanwithdrawl@lemmy.world 6 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

Um yeah you definitely insinuated that was and thought I would be offended by that. Do you think you can just twist the words until you squirm your way out of looking stupid?

[–] BouteilleBrune@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

go and read the comment, it says "you probably think reading is gay" because you didn't read the other comment

as you can see, you haven't read that one either, which proves my point

and I did the opposite of calling you gay

do people learn to read in your country or is it too expensive?

[–] 3daybanwithdrawl@lemmy.world 1 points 3 hours ago

Can I not read because I'm gay or because I'm poor? I'm both, so it's hard for my tiny American mind to understand your huge foreign ego. If you can't go back and look for yourself and see how you lost this argument about 2 comments ago means I should probably block you. I'm not going to though, because for some reason you are not enraging me, you are just entertaining me at this point. And since I'm so gay and poor, good entertainment isnt always easy to find.

[–] BouteilleBrune@lemmy.world -4 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

I didn't say you personally voted for him, I said you elected him, thus the importance of knowing how to read

and yes you did elect him

you guys bomb countries, kill innocent fishermen, steal ressources, kidnap presidents

but god forbid I tell you Donald Trump is your president, that would be "negative"
