That's one of the things that makes greek and norse mythology appealing IMO. They make mistakes like we do. They get horny, they fuck and they fuck up.

Especially so with the norse mythology, the gods are like people that have achieved magic and immortality. Too bad celtic and gaulic and germanic and the rest of the barbarian mythology has mostly been lost to history because they weren't given to letters. Which is the definition of a barbarian tribe according to some, if they wrote shit down.

Makes them also more believable and causes less logical issues.
