Indeed! Where I work just had some update fly on on the Windows PC that locked the kids out of getting in to it, even though I have it set up to be a direct login, it wanted a Microsoft account..

Oh hell no, local password only.

The initial install was the first release of Win 10 Pro so none of that online crap.

Had to get them to reboot the system to give that whole setup nonsense the slip.

It never happens with the systems we have running the older macOSes.. which is perfect.

I'm in the process of trying to convince the CEO of pivoting to an open source office suite and away from MS entirely, so we can have universal compatibility regardless of the platform.

What MS has done to Orfice for Mac is a shitshow.
