Why would there be contrast? It's a propaganda film.
I have noticed a few people are a bit slow on the uptake and or struggling with critical thinking.
Though perhaps it's best not. For example so many people feel Pearl Jam's song Alive uplifting or inspiring. Ignorance is bliss.
Made in the USA is another one that comes to mind
