TBF, they literally don't have the range to hit anything other than US military bases and ships.

They could hit schools in USA allied countries where the USA military bases are. They could explicitly target the schools in the USA military bases. They're not doing that, we would be told if they did.

I get what your saying, but I doubt they could. The attacks on Israel have shown that they are not exactly using precision weapons.

Their attacks on Israel have shown they have exact opposite. High precision missiles targeting radar installations and military bases despite jamming.

Cluster bombs are not particularly high precision weapons. I'm all for destroying the Israeli fascist regime but let's not pish to far with propaganda.

Which incident are you referring to?

[–] harcesz@szmer.info 0 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The one swith cluster bombs? Little else got throughout after the first wave.

[–] Saledovil@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 day ago

When did this happen?

[–] zaphod@sopuli.xyz 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Well, they could target a school in Qatar and end up hitting some residential area, but we're not seeing that, it's military bases that get hit and there's better stuff to target than schools.

That is exactly what we saw during the ballistic missile and drone attack waves on Israel.

Yes USA bad, but let's not pretend Iran has the moral high ground, sponsoring proxies groups that mostly attack civilians has been their spiel for decades.

Clearly you are very I'll informed. Likely intentional

A very valid perspective, which brings us back to why did we start a war with a nation that can't even strike us?

[–] BilSabab@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

and even if they did - those missiles aint cheap to throw into schools.
