She's 100% correct here, I've seen it myself in discussions here on Lemmy too. Any criticisms of Carney and his policies are met with accusations of American support by people who appear to view politics like a zero-sum game.
I forgot to mention one of his mps is pushing for surveillance bill c-22.
Originally Bill C-2, which was defeated, so now they're trying Bill C-22 and are trying to bypass the process. They did it immediately, too.
It is bullshit. I voted for Carney to AVOID shit like that!
