Not sure why you are getting down-voted. It isn't like Disney shows are essential to life or that piracy doesn't exist.
Netflix was the last streaming service I paid for, until I realized I was paying for 1080p and they would only send 720p because I don't have the right monitor, OS, and browser.
People will complain, but still keep handing over their money.
@Drusas Fair clarification, but whether the service has become shitty is ultimately beside the point. It’s on Disney, Netflix, or whoever to provide a service people think is worth paying for, and it’s on customers to decide when it no longer is.
I also don’t think “I already paid” really changes much here. With most streaming services you’ve paid for a month or, at most, a year of access not permanent ownership or lifetime access. If the service gets worse after that, don’t renew.
It’s not really comparable to something like Plex Pass Lifetime, where you’ve specifically paid once for ongoing access and would have a much stronger argument if those terms were later undermined.
Because the practice is still shitty whether you use the product or not. And the meme implies that you already paid, so of course you'd be infuriated to find you'd been scammed.
