So this is ACTUALLY EXACTLY what she Wanted to Happen! GOOD for Her for Getting her Wishes!
She probably didn't want ICE to murder her daughter, and claims like that are ineffectual counters to far-right messaging.

He was already president for 4 years. Everyone knew exactly what he was. That excuse didn't fly this time.
The lack of subtlety in online discussions can be tiring.
Anyone who voted for Trump a second or third time absolutely should have known he was a shithead who would harm the country. If they were clever, they might have figured out his plan for mass deportations would result in an armed goon squad killing some Americans, but if they were clever, they never would have voted for him at all.
None of that is equivalent to a mother wanting Trump's goon squad to kill her daughter. She fell for his bullshit about immigrants being scary.
If only there were people around to warn everyone...
She does appear old enough to have witnessed the first term, and everything before that, though.
It's a shame you got hit with early downvotes. I don't think a lot of people realize how much a negative or positive vote score colors their interpretation of a comment. Because frankly all you were doing is being specific about what happened.

Then maybe conservatives shouldn't breed.
Conservatism is a learned behavior, not one that is inherited. I would prefer they not pass their values on to anyone but them not literally breeding isn't a solution to the problem, as much as it may help
I disagree. While it is possible for a young person to learn to be conservative in their youth, a normal person will necessarily abandon conservatism as they get older. This is because a normal person will have the ability to experience empathy. It is not possible to experience empathy and hold conservative views simultaneously. Conservatism defies empathy. A person who feels empathy for others cannot also hold conservative views. They are simply incompatible with empathy in every respect.
Not only are conservatives biologically unable to experience empathy, but they also choose malice and greed in service to their narcissism. Conservatives are unable to be taught to be normal, just as a normal person cannot be taught to be conservative in any real, lasting way. We are fundamentally, biologically different from one another.
People become more conservative as they age. I don't know where you get this opinion they will necessarily abandon it as they age.
As people get exposed to more injustices and as they gain more things that can be lost they become more protective of their own situation and stop caring for other people, typically. I have seen multiple studies on this that arrive at the same outcome.
Again. I don't know why you hold the opinion or where the opinion comes from. Would love to hear your side if you feel like explaining
I disagree with the conservative talking point that people become more conservative as they age. I have observed that only conservatives become more conservative as they age.
My comment that normal people will abandon conservatism as they age refers to young people abandoning conservatism in their 20's because their empathy is completely incompatible with conservatism.
A young normal person who can experience empathy may be raised in a conservative household and may be trained to be conservative as a child. But as they grow up and are able to form their own views of the world, they will find their empathy to be completely incompatible with conservatism. It is not possible to experience empathy and hold conservative views simultaneously. Conservatism is not compatible with empathy. A young adult who can experience empathy will naturally move away from conservatism as they recognize how incompatible it is with being a normal, empathetic human.
Conservatives are biologically unable to experience empathy. A child who is biologically unable to experience empathy and is raised in a conservative home is likely to become more conservative as they age because they have not been taught to value empathy.
Further, conservatives often train their children to avoid and dislike empathy. They often call empathy "woke" and teach their children to use that word as a pejorative for any empathetic act.
A person who cannot experience empathy may grow up with these lessons as their core values, becoming more bold about them as they age. However, a person who can experience empathy is likely to discard these lessons as they age because they are incongruent with the empathy they can personally experience and observe in others.
