Not any more. Just bought an EV new for about the same price as I bought for an ICE in 2019 before adjusting for inflation.

They are getting cheaper as they get more ubiquitous. If you have an ICE that runs fine, don't rush out to replace it, but if you're in the market for a new car you should seriously consider EV.
