AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.
Part of me wonders if easy typos in news articles aren't a purposeful little signal to the people who care that the article wasn't written by AI. But then I also think that it'd be just as easy to insert some typos into fresh slop that maybe the simpler explanation of not being thoroughly edited makes more sense
