Hilariously I apparently am big into adheasivly mounting things and also buying batteries. Nothing about my buttocks, sadly.

Oh. And I prefer Anker chargers.

I miss Anker before thy sold out and enshittified. Used to be a reliable no brainer, now it’s an always-avoid no-brainer.

The items that I own from them are fine. I don't really buy into all the like... Home improvement side of their business stuff. No vacuums, power you whole house power supplies, speakers, ear buds, etc. I'm probably missing a lot of the picture as far as their brand enshittification is concerned.

Tell me more. I've relied on Anker as a dependable brand for years. What changed?

Like what the other people have said, they branched out too far into too many categories so they no longer maintain the quality of their fundamentals. They even recently had to recal over one million battery products and the way their customer service has handled the situation is an absolute trainwereck.

What they don’t tell you on this page is the rest of their inferences based on that: you’re stuck in the renting class still.

This list of “admissions” is intentionally shitty to mollify people into accepting the data broker dystopia.

Nah. I don't need to know that when I can make my own conferences about where they got this information from.

I have a tile bathroom. Hanging stuff in there is a nightmare. I also have used those adhesive strips to mount things to the back of my TV and to my toolbox.

My brother loses/breaks chargers like it's going out of style so I buy him on every few months.

The lack of information there is kind of weird given how old the account is. I was expecting a lot of stuff and got basically nil. Granted it's not like I use the account much, but I've had it since college when you could buy used books there.
