I may just be old, but I agree. (Editing to add I'm an old cis woman.) I think Anon using "female" as an adjective with "friend" when he's going on to talk about girls' night with her and the rest of his new friends is several levels less bad than someone using "female" as a noun, they're just dismissed as "a female."
I also suspect that it won't be long before the egg cracks and we see the update on this post over in blahaj 196 or whatever it is.

No, male-female friendships are great and can last a long time, but these girls say Anon is practically a girl, maybe they see something true.
They're making baseless, silly assumptions in the same vein as modern bigots in jest. Is satire.
