"Death to all those who oppose my worldview, because they are a threat and must certainly view US as a threat to THEIR worldview" - the problem with multiple fundamentally different worldviews existing
This is a topic in philosophy. You define what's moral and immoral, and then you realize that sometimes your moral code must be broken for exceptions. Here's an example:
Killing is immoral.
Gay is immoral.
Killing gay is therefore good. Why? Because my religion says gay is immoral and I want to get the good ending (afterlife).
Which is why religious people are all fucking scary to us queers, because we know that fundamentally they're playing by different rules. Even the "good ones"are still playing by the same rulebook, and since they all pick and choose what rules they follow and when... There really isn't a social contract that we can trust anymore.
Which puts us atheists in a weird place where we have to just have faith that we won't be fucked over or murdered by some messed up person. And that faith is now non-existent because it has no basis in reason anymore because of this exact shit. There's more pattern recognition in having faith that BAD stuff happens because of religious people. Therefore, religious people are bad people. Yes I know there's nuance, but that collective cognitive system is stressed trying to exist in this shitty society where about half of all voting adults want any and all bad endings for me and anybody that helps me in any way or anybody like me or anybody that remotely agrees with me.
