Incorrect they barred several observers and closed several stations reporters were watching. And ocse is correct, it's not legitimate anymore then me going to Russia and holding succession referendums.

That would normally be the way it works yes if Russia went is sticking incursions into Ukraine. How many days after maidan was out before Russia invaded crimea again?

Maidan ended 2/22/14 2/27/14 invasion

5 days? Hard to hold a legitimate election in 5 days huh?

And again, could the invader not simply leave and end the conflict, just say yes already and stop being cowardly.

You're lying. OSCE rejected the premise of secession.

Snap elections make a lot of sense after a sudden coup. You're the only one I've heard try to pretend it wasn't popular. They voted for Yanukovych overwhelmingly, but they don't overwhelmingly want to secede after he was overthrown by people on the opposite side of the country?

The invasion happened eight years later.

Just let people vote and respect their vote.

I just said that dummy, osce weren't the only ones who wanted to observe. I think we find the issue though, reading comprehension doesn't to seem to be your strong suit.

Amusing, the first invasion into crimea was 5 days after the agreed end of the maidan. Russia admits the first incursion was in February of 2014, why can't you?

Agreed, they can have a vote after Russia leaves just as they've said they will multiple times. Heres a fun question, how many countries during ww2 suspended elections?

And again my shilly friend. Can the invader not simply leave and end the conflict? Come on, be brave baby you don't need this job anyway.
