MODERATORS

Donald Trump is a “puppet” to psychopathic traits that are likely to become even more dangerous if Republicans suffer a bruising defeat in next month’s midterm elections, a leading clinical psychologist has warned.

Dr. Vincent Greenwood, director of the Washington Center for Cognitive Therapy, also believes the president’s danger is underestimated and warrants invoking the 25th Amendment.

Why are people with ASPD incapable of being racist?

Don't listen to this person.

The same thing (oxytocin) that causes innate in-group loyalty also makes you hate everyone not in that in-group:

https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12552-020-09303-2

People with ASPD given oxytocin, start to act "normal", even though that's not always positive:

https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/psychiatry/articles/10.3389/fpsyt.2019.00076/full

Oxytocin does a shit ton of stuff, and there's a huge range of variation. Shouldn't need to mention this everytime neurotransmitters and/or hormones come up, but just to be safe: nothing is binary, everything is a spectrum.

But someone with actual ASPD who isn't just a selfish dick, just doesn't have it in them to really be racist or judge any demographic with any sort of bigotry.

They have no "us" in-group they're implicitly loyal too, so everyone else is "them" which make them equal.

Edit:

To be clear that's about innate in-group loyalty

Again, it's a spectrum, but plenty of people on it can logically see the value of an in-group and be "ride or die" to a greater extent than a "normal" person, simply because they see it is an obligation they implicitly agreed to.

But the illogical oxytocin based loyalty is how you get shit like perfectly normal parents covering up horrific crimes of their children or ignoring clear warning signs.

ASPD is more like a Vulcan than a Klingon to put it in Fediverse terms. They're not going to rage out, but if they feel that logically violence is the answer, there's not the normal hesitation. It just fucking happens, and that is terrifying for people that fall on the normal range of oxytocin spectrum. But still is nothing compared to the violence a normal person would do with glee to "them" regardless of what that label describes.

And they'd 100% believe it was done for the greater good.

It's what evolution designed us for; tribal warfare. ASPD were the people who could see past tribes and facilitated exchange of goods and ideas.

Not boogeymen. That's just another "them" story the normies created

I'm surprised we've still not moved past the whole 'saying person has x medical condition as an insult' thing.

That said, you clearly have acne, and that's probably why you're secretly evil or something along those lines.

It's not even a medical condition...

It's just human variation. One of an absolute shit ton of different neurotransmitters and hormones that determine our behavior.

Sometimes we have less of them then average, sometimes we have more. Sometimes we have less receptors, sometimes more, sometimes the receptors hold on super long, some times they let go immediately.

Everyone assumes theyre normal and that everyone else is the same, that's nowhere close to truth, and if anyone was ever just right in the middle average in every aspect of variation...

They'd probably be the most unique human to ever live, the odds of that happening are astronomical.

We're all unique, even most are "average"
