We could make him Mr. Impeached.
Maybe we can create a Nobel Impeachment prize
How will that be different from the last couple times?
It will still be hilarious and it will piss him off.
It's so pointless. There are fast more important things dems could and should do with their time.
i disagree. impeachment is probably the most important thing they could do, especially if they control the senate and can remove him from office.
2/3rds of the Senate is required, much like overriding a veto. The last round it was pretty close because the MAGA purge hadn't happened, this time the Republicans need to either believe that won't happen again or blocking it would be even worse for them.
Alternatively, you cut a deal and agree to not lame-duck JD Vance and his VP pick. That's pretty much the only way I see that happening and I'm not sure it's better than blocking Trump and crossing your fingers for 2028.
The House Democrats should be using Article IX and Impeaching someone in this administration literally every single day.
They quite literally have a duty to impeach a criminal President. They swore an oath that they would do so.
Currently the Democrats in Congress, with the exception of Al Green, are violating their oath of office just slightly less than the Orange Predophile. It doesn't matter if they can secure a conviction and removal or not. Congress shouldn't be business as usual at all right now.
Controlling the senate isn't enough. You need a super majority, which they won't have. It will all be a performative waste of time like it always is. Instead they could be doing things that could actually help struggling Americans.
What on earth do you think will happen? Our very best case is that we have two years of them blocking Trump and him Vetoing them back. Lol.
Keep him and his cronies locked up in court for a while. Maybe take Pete down in the meantime.
Correct, you'll have 2 years of material to run on in 2028. Put them on record for being against the things the majority of Americans want.
What court? He was impeached twice. When during those impeachment proceedings was he in court?
