That is too far a disconnect. Is not bailing out banks and car companies a form of socialism? Are biological people even considered anymore? People are social animals. By extension, social endeavors should be at the top of the list. Let's not get into the specific definitions of "political" socialism to muddy the waters. It's all people all the time.

These people talking about the "horrors" of socialism are also clamoring to pay companies to build data centers in their districts.
