I was told you’re not supposed to dump your batteries into a bucket like that
At least glass should not melt from the battery fluid, shouldn't it?
They should probably tape off the contacts to reduce the risk of forming a circuit, yeah.
Just cover the terminals of any 9V battery so they don’t short.
