there's two things you just can't take from us americans:
edit: i'm not saying it's a good thing, i'm just saying we're weirdly politically motivated when it comes to these two things
The "European" sizes are just the normal sizes we used to have in the USA. Gradually they increased the sizes to sell more dranks by default. Current "small" size drinks are just the former medium size cups and so on
we can thank the good people at 7-11 for normalizing the 64 oz $1.50 drink
