People pretend ragers are something inherently cool. Some others do too if they don't question their motivations and then they are often embarrassed whenever people do ask them why it should be cool. Because they don't know. They just thought it represented something and people just pretended it did for social cohesion reasons (which is just boring old people habits now)

Basically the real ones go wtf you doing talking about my badass life like that for? And the fake ones (that have basically nothing going on for them besides jobs) they eat that 'telling the same old story' stuff up with a big ass smiles like "I peaked then and its everything to me" which is really sad old people shit and unless they're really nice persons and/or are sharing it just to connect with you its not really worth any congratulations. They're usually just impressed with themselves. (Taken on its merits its alright of course)

That all said, do go ahead and get some life experiences, and allow yourself to be in positions that let life happen and make some memories!
