The US isn't exactly a standard, because a shitload of people live in poverty in the US.
Also I am still finding German news articles as recent as 2022 that conditions at Foxconn still havent improved (the Foxconn scandal was like in 2010 to 2011) and that suicide safety nets aren't that rare at manufacturing factories in China.

Bullshit articles about China are a de rigueur for Western media, because god forbid you should encounter the threat of a good example.
China is not all evil, but holy shit you need to get that boot out of your mouth. Also why the fuck do I want to believe state media when it is in their interest to hide the bad sides of their country? China based sources are either state controlled or bullshit right wing or Falun Gong based news sites.
