Remember: when a Republican prays for the victims of something or god-blesses someone, it's a signal that they won't do anything more.
Yep. Her performative involvement is done.
I'm really starting to wonder if this is the issue that reminded MTG she's a human being though.
MTG isn't a human being. She's trash-incarnate. But the conspiracy theory rot in her brain is stronger than her loyalty to Trump.
Make no mistake: she doesn't give a shit about the Epstein victims. All she cares about he exposing the deep-state or whatever nonsense she believes in. It just so happens that it makes her appear on the right side of the issue for once. But she's on the right side for the wrong reasons.
This is actually much more plausible than my theory. Thanks for the reminder! :D
It was her
She's trash incarnate, alright. She's far more intentionally manipulative than people realize, I'd wager. Convinced herself she clever, so she is obsessed with scheming...even though her brain is just a rotten pile of mush.
MtG seems smart enough to understand the game she is playing and how to profit on it.
Majorie Taylor Green is an example of someone who grew up in the right wing grifter pushing consipiracy theory media. We can thank people like Rush Limbaugh, Rupert Murdoch, Andrew Breitbart, etc.
All these fucks knew that they were pushing bullshit conspiracy theories and they didn't care. It made them rich.
Well now, all those people who grew up listening to those grifters are now in positions of power. They don't know it was a grift, they all think that shit is real.
