I got a 1.73% raise this year. The founder and executive president of the company I work for increased his net worth to something like 4.5 billion dollars.
Meanwhile the cost of living is continuing to skyrocket. Food inflation rose in the 6%. My interest rate for my mortgage went up. Taxes are up. As well as a bunch of other fees.
