Good question. I honestly have no clue. It's ridiculous we can talk to NPC's at this point with our actual voice.
I mean they have mods to add the Voice Activated Shouts to any nexus mod manager. Why is it that Bethesda relies on mods to correct their crap games?
i actually looked it up, its because the kinect already came with a built in voice recognition software for devs to use. but if they wanted a regular mic to work, theyd have to make their own software for it which would be more time and effort for something not everybody's going to use
a shame as it would be really fun if every game had that
Nexus mods exist. Microsoft and Bethesda locked that behind a dongle.
they didnt, kinect had the means to actually make it feasible and possible. if someone makes a voice command mod id love to see it

Oh, ya. It wasn't very good when i tried it but that was years ago. Bet it works great now. Sorry, if I'm being rude in any of these posts. I'm hungry and just got off work. Glad you could learn you can mod this in. Plus on pc you can mod all sorts of stuff. Cheers mate.
