There are some notable politicians and bureaucrats who have been 'promoted' or moved on in the last year or three: Bill Blair, Chrystia Freeland, Justin Trudeau, David Lametti, Jody Thomas, Marco Mendocino, Jim Watson, Brenda Lucki. They ALL have a link to one particular event in our Canadian history. But you'll never hear that from the CBC, will you?
