last time we had presidential corruption, it was pardoned "to help the country heal".
Which was utter bullshit and Ford should have been impeached and put on trial for doing it.. but America does not have a good history of holding presidential malfeasance particularly accountable.
When we emerge from this, it will be absolutely that we not continue "business as usual." MAGA wanted change this nation, and we should oblige them, and totally reconfigure it so it serves the people, regulates the wealthy and corporations, and has an election system that filters out the corrupt, and filters in the intelligent.
We are in unprecedented territory, and it will require unprecedented solutions. Constantly saying that we've never done that before is not helpful, and only sends the message that we would accept the same old easy non-solutions that brought us here.
MAGA is expecting to get spanked real hard, because that's what they would do. Let's not disappoint them.
I agree with you, but you won't get this from voting Democrat, I can guarantee it. If we want this, we, the working class, need to find a way to make it a reality, because the democrats are 100% co-opted and infiltrated.
I think Obama not pursuing charges against those in the Bush administration was another, more recent, bit of bullshit.
Biden couldnt even handle a very public clear cut case of sedition from trump.
