I'm a woman and this is true for me. The only exception will be if I ever meet a man I am in love with, and he loves me back, and he has a big house in California and he wants me to live there with him.
So far the only man I've met like that he lives in Arizona but I don't want to live in arizona.
This is why men disenfranchised women for so long. Women couldn’t have bank accounts, credit cards or no fault divorce until very recently. The fact that men and women with internalized mysoginist beliefs rage so hard against the reality even in a time when mainstream politicians and project 2025 are stripping women of their rights and talking about taking the right to vote away from us is really very scary. Women are allowed to have standards and preferences. I have found that even on lemmy women can’t talk about the real facts of their realities without being mobbed on.

If that ever happens you'll hate yourself for being so vain as to ignore chemistry and personality, and the relationship will likely crash fast.
You mean as vain as the person I replied to. Nothing at all different about it but the gender of the person posting it.
I'll never forget a boyfriend I had from 2015 to 2019, early on he told me if he ever won the lottery and/or met a supermodel, then I would be instantly gone. I never forgot that he said that, even if he was just playing around.
Well guess what happened? In 2019 I received a huge family inheritance and lots of other hotter more fun nicer boyfriends who didn't even know I had money. I left that original twerp. Goodbye.
