Because people aren't choosing their hobbies based on how it provides enrichment for children that are in their lives tangentially?

Really?

Becuase I find it strange to suggest that childless people should be choosing their hobbies based on how it affects kids that aren't theirs. That's a weird thing to suggest people should be doing.
