So? Both options work great for me.
If a good alternative to Youtube is created, then I'll use that. Great.
If a good alternative to Youtube never arises, and Youtube is constantly enshittified further, that's great too. The human race deserves to suffer, so this option is also great.
Careful not to cut yourself on that edge
